“I’m really glad to endorse Erin Mendenhall for Salt Lake City Mayor. I was thinking about this: when you’re choosing your next mayor, you’re choosing someone that you’re going to go on a four-year roadtrip with. And that’s a tough decision. And you’re choosing someone who’ll be in the driver’s seat. You know, you want someone who’s going to make decisions, stand up for Salt Lake City, listen to everybody, and really just be there as someone you can trust. There are some people who are great at telling stories… you want them in the backseat. They’re entertainment. There’s other people who are really good at reading maps and knowing what’s going on… they can ride shotgun. But in the driver’s seat, you want someone that’s going to stand up for Salt Lake City, and that’s who Erin Mendenhall is. I’m very pleased to endorse her.”
